Moriah has been fighting a bacteria condition in her digestive system. She has been on antibiotics for the last week. She finally was up in her chair again yesterday and looked better than the previous days. Hopefully she's over this. Other than that, no changes in her medical condtion. She remains stable, somewhat alert, but still unresponsive for the most part. Please keep praying for her.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Mother's Day. It truly is the most important job in the world. I played golf for the first time in a long time. Actually hit a couple of good shots. Thanks to Jim and Joe for getting me out.

The scholarship fund is now open. If you would like to contribute you may send your donation directly to,

P.E.O. Executive Office
3700 Grand Avenue
Des Moines, Ia. 50312

Checks need to be made out to the P.E.O. Foundation and tagged for "Mary Reiman Memorial Scholarship Fund of Iowa City. If you have any questions let me know.

We are also looking into annual fundraisers to grow the fund, such as a Golf Event etc.. If you have any input on this or ideas feel free to contact me.

Danielle will be home during the first week in June. Thanks to the Madsens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see her.

Should be getting the roof up on the house in Missouri in the next week or so.

My apologies for not doing a posting sooner. I'm going to try to do one a week or so. Thanks to all of you that remember us in your prayers. It does make a difference.

Life is not only Struggles
but Rewards
Not only Tragedies
but Triumphs
Not only Confusion
but Clarity
Not only Grief
but Joy
Not only Distress
but Comfort
Not only Violence
but Peace
Not only Hate
but Love
Not only Evil
but the Grace of The Lord

Oh the paradox of life!!
Have a great week.
God Bless
