This week has not been so kind to Moriah. We started out Sunday with a suspicious red spot and swollen area above her elbow on her left arm. So off to the hospital we go. After exams, xrays, ct scan, ultrasound, and a bunch of other stuff it was decided to admit her into the hospital. A chest xray revealed the possibility of pneumonia. Lots of anti biotics later and her white cell count returned to normal. And we're ready to check out on Wednesday and her tests reveal a urinary infection so another night at the hospital. A negative test for pneumonia and she returned to Windmill Manor on Thursday afternoon. That's the short version. The area on her arm looks better but is not totally resolved and a cause was never determined. They will continue to administer some anti biotics and watch it to see what happens.
