Mojo's condition pretty much remains the same. Medically(other than not being awake) she's in pretty good shape. The eyes have not been open a lot. She did open them up this morning while we were sitting outside on the front porch. When her eyes aren't open a lot they are problematic with matter building up in them. They do look much better than they did a few days ago so hopefully we are on the right track. Your visits and thoughts are important so thank you in advance and please keep them up. It means a lot to all of us.

I have joined the ranks of learning how to burn and download CD's(thank you Ryan) I am currently in the process of downloading my collection. So far I'm at 1787 songs and I haven't scratched the surface. So if anyone wants a copy of something please let me know. I would be more than happy to oblige.

Changes, well I never thought I'd come to the point that I wouldn't be upset at the Vikes blowing a lead in the 4th quarter. Just doesn't seem all that big of a deal. Well at least it wasnt' to the Packers!!

And how bout those Twins!!

And some folks drive a Bentley
But sooner or later we all end up, over in the break down lane.

Moriah has been a little quieter this week.. She hasn't had her eyes open quite as much. It seems that darn left eye is still bothering her. Her alertness seems to coincide with the condition of the left eye so hopefully we can get it fixed. Medically she remains in pretty good shape. Just needs to wake up!!!!!!!!!

Here is the preliminary wording for the plaque that will honor Mary near the side walk in Galway Hills

In Memory of Mary Reiman
A true friend & fun loving spirit who
Welcomed the first neighbors to Galway Hills
With the music of her laughter and her beautiful smile.
We had the good fortune to cross your path in life
And we will never forget you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again

No farewell words were spoken; no time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows shy

You'll nver be forgotten. We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts where you will always stay

When Mary left us
Heaven's garden held a new bloom

Many thanks to all that had input into this
Pretty cool I'd say

God Bless

Moriah has been about the same the past few days as in the previous week. She continues to have her eyes open a significant amount and seems to be resting a little more comfortable while she's laying down. The left eye remains problematic as it looks good and clear and than will be red and shut occasionaly. The nurses report that she has improved in her responses, so we'll go with that for now. I guess she wacked one of them a couple of days ago with her arm.

A cheerful heart is a good medicine,
but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs

I guess that means stay postive and keep up the prayers.

Mary's friend Darlene talked Bob Schneider in to mentioning me during his last stop in Iowa City. Having never listened to him prior to Brian and Darlene taking me to his show at The Mill in April, I've been amazed and touched by his lyrics. Leave it to Dar. He'll be doing an acoustic show at The Mill on Monday night the 18th. Believe me he puts on an adult show but, his love songs are amazing.

I wish I was a baby bear sleeping in the brown
Winter grass in April while the sun was going down
And I wish my shoes were empty
And I was still in bed
With you there beside me with your dreams inside your head
Oh I wish the world would do what I want it to
And I wish the wind would blow me, blow me back to you

I wish your Mom was ugly and your Dad was ugly too
Cuz then they couldn't had a girl to be as beautiful as you
And I wish I was a tight rope walker with legs made out of gold
Cuz I'd hold you in my golden legs and never let you go
Oh I wish the world would do what I want it to
And I wish the wind would blow me, blow me back to you

I wish I could see Jesus shining in the sky
So he could finally tell me everything was just a lie
And I wish I knew that God's love was all I'd ever need (I do)
I'd cut my candy teeth for fun and let the good times bleed

Oh I wish the world would do what I want it to
Oh I wish the world would do what I want it to
And I wish the world would blow me, blow me back to you

Be Strong

The Labor Day weekend ended a good week for Mojo. She had her eyes open most of the time. Her left eye has looked a lot better this past week. We continue to have hope that something good will happen with her. Again, many thanks to all of you who have prayed for us. That is where our strength comes from. (That's what makes us strong!)
Thank you to all that visited her over the weekend.

But he would withdraw to deserted places and pray. Luke 5 v16 yep!!

Keep the faith!!!!

God Bless
