Nothing new to report on Moriah. Maybe next time I'll have done some convincing to get her up in the chair.

We will be having an open house for Danielle's graduation from Philadelphia University on Saturday July 5th from 5 to 8 at Brian and Darlene Olshanky's. Please let me know if you can come so I can get an idea for beverages, food, etc. Or just show up and surprise us. Brian and Darlene live on Maier road which is a couple miles past Menards on Highway 1 south. Take a left on Maier road, go through the S curve and then the second drive on the left. We'll mark it so you don't miss it.

I had a good weekend although too fast, too far, and too much gas. Oh well. I took Jawon and his sisters to the Zoo and we had a great time.

Hope all is well with all of you.
Give me a call at 319-400-4423 or drop me an email at msews@msn.com if you can come to the reception.
God Bless

Happy Fathers day to all the Dad's out there. Locally I think we're a little pre-occupied with some other things.

Moriah is still confined to her bed. She will see the doc tomorrow so hopefully we'll be able to start getting her back up in her chair soon. She looked pretty good this morning when I visited her. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Here's some pics of Coralville and Iowa City. What a mess. It's gonna be a long road to recovery for a lot of people.

I wonder what Bill Shakespeare would have to say about all of this??

This is where my friends and I hangout. There is probably another 6 feet of water here currently

The Coralville Resevoir. The water went over the spill way which is on the left for only the second time in history.

The Orange roof is where Mark's office is.

Enough said I guess

Things can be replaced. Friends and family can't.

Hang in there everyone.

The Flood

Please keep my community and friends in your prayers. Many of my hangouts are currently under water with 3 to 5 more feet of water on its way. Moriah and I our safe. This state and community has some tough days ahead. Man, Mother Nature has really unleashed her fury. You can go to Presscitizen.com to view stories and photos.

Time flies!! I see that I haven't posted anything since May 18th.
No major changes to report on Moriah's condition. She has been pretty stable the past few weeks and has looked good. We did take a trip for a review of her chair, posture, etc. Hopefully we will be seeing her up more often after we make some equipment adjustments and get her a different seat for her chair. Hard to believe you need a prescription for a chair pad, but I'm learning the inner workings of the Medicaid system.

Rush was better than ever.
Rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned a valuable lesson from an old friend this past week. Thanks Nathan. Never ever give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope to see you all down the road soon.
God Bless
